Fantastic rococo boulle shaped designed case with beautiful patina and colour to the ebonised lacquered finish On both sides and the face of the case it has various gilded decorations all in excellent condition The case has a glazed hinged front door and has glass panels on either side Case is in great original condition for age Cream enamel dial with Roman numerals & original filigree hands Dial is in great original condition Swiss 8 day bell striking movement with its original pendulum and a winding key Strikes every 1/2 hour on the bell, striking once on the half past and counting the hours on the hour Movement is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should The clock has superb proportions and measures 17 inches high x 9 inches wide x 4 inches deep .
