This painting is a really nicely done. It is a Scandinavian oil on Masonite signed lower left Sigard 43 and verso with label "The Old Road" Sigard Svendsen 5.00". It depicts the "Old Road" with colorful landscape throughout the scene. Beautiful flowers growing off to the left and right, in the center a large tree is in full bloom is surrounded by lush shrubbery. You can see the way the artist depicted the light coming in from the artist view illuminating the entire landscape, a really nicely done painting for sure. Measures; 12" x 16". .
