You are buying a high quality upgrade part to replace your standard regulator rectifier to modern MOSFET technology! Before fitting it to your bike, make sure that the connectors on the bike side are free from corrosion or burnt marks, especially the 3 AC output wires from your alternator ( yellow or white wires on most motorcycles, black on many triumph models) which work at high amperage.
