The opening credits roll on Matter Does Not Define, the thrilling third season from The Lathums. The album was written by the band, comprised of Moore, Scott Concepcion (guitars, piano, and vocals), Ryan Durrans (drums), and Matty Murphy (bass and vocals), in their native Wigan before recording at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool. They were in the company of long-term creative guide, John Kettle, and producer, Chris Taylor. With a 12-song track listing, Matter Does Not Define proves to be prolific. It follows the band's chart-topping second album and their classic indie debut, 2021's How Beautiful Life Can Be.
