It is not compatible with 2-pin bases. NOTE: If you are using a 16W 2PIN bulb and want to replace it. This is a 4-pin fixture type, not a 2-pin fixture type! If the ballast only has 2 pins, this 4-pin bulb is not compatible, it cannot fit into a 2-pin ballast!
