Beautiful blue and white plate is a vintage "Haarlem" pattern. The writing on the back says that it is manufactured by Société Céramique in Maastricht, Holland. However, this is not the standard backstamp used by the company suggesting it was made unofficially or after the closure of the original factory in 1958. It features a central peacock motif surrounded by intricate floral and botanicals in a traditional delft/ transferware style. Produced in the Netherlands, likely in the late 1950s or 60s. Type: Collectible Dutch earthenware. This piece is in excellent collectible condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. Glaze is intact.
