R for various teams in the Rolex Sports Car Series. Katech built the C5-R and LS7.R engines that powered the C5-R and C6.R Corvettes in the GTS/GT1 classes of ALMS and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. After Le Mans 2009, Corvette Racing switched to the GT2 class and decided to bring the engine builds in-house.
