Heat resistant rope end sealing tape used to wrap around the cut length of the rope to clean up the frayed edges. Peel the backing off its self adhesive, simply wrap it around the of the rope, ensuring the two ends over lap, then using a sharp pair of scissors cut through the rope and tape this will give you a neater finish.
