This is a Scottish strain isolated from the pictured fruit bodies on a fallen birch. Liquid cultureshould not be used to directly inoculate bulk substrates.Rather this liquid culture should be used to initially prepare grain spawn by inoculating hydrated and sterilized grains (e.g. wheat, rye, millet, wild bird seed).
