The reel features 4 shuttered sockets with a maximum load of 3120W (13A) fully unwound and 1200W (5A) when fully wound. Vents provide extra cooling for the cable when in a wound state. For added safety, the reel is fitted with a thermal overload protection system to prevent overheating damaging the cable when in use.
