An attractive cylindrical box with hand painted enamel decoration on copper in a Cantonese style, of pink flowers, butterflies and peaches on a blue ground . Possibly intended as a tea caddy, and I think early 20th century in date CONDITION - two small chips to the enamel on the rim of the lid and one on the inner rim , a little wear at the edges and a slight ‘wobble’ to the rim of the box (please see pics) . Nothing too noticeable though and all secure. Please note the white marks are reflections! MEASUREMENTS- 7.5cm tall and 7.5cm across approx.
