This is an unusual pair of English antique sterling silver salt spoons made of a threepence coin made by the Royal Mint in 1916 and 1922 during the reign of King George V. The salt spoons each measures 2.5 inches long, has a round bowl measuring .6 of an inch in diameter that has been hand hammered into a convex shape. The coin has then had an artisan add a barley twist handle with a turned finial. The spoon dates are on the back and the back has a lovely pattern of embossed acorns and oak leaves. The salt spoons are in excellent condition and is very difficult to find. We have stock for different years, you can request if prefer. Original pictures.
