If you slide the flash on or off, you can adjust the light intensity and light distribution differently. When a flash unit is mounted on this Aurora Bounce adapter, the light falls on the inside of the softbox and bounces back to the front. The reflection of the indirectly placed light is softer than that of the other. In the front position, the reflection is concentrated in the center of the softbox. In the middle position, the light reflection fills most of the softbox and creates the softest light of Allen . In the rear position, the light is reflected on the front edge of the softbox, creating a rim light.
