Apple imac 27 inch late 2009 - for parts - runs latest Lubuntu
The only problem with this imac 27 is the infamous vertical lines on the display due to faulty graphics card. After trying many systems I think the latest Lubuntu 24.04.3 LTS is the best OS for this machine.
