A rare antique Tibetan ritual container, made from polished yak bone with silver mounts. Triangular form with hand-forged silver top, loop fittings for suspension and a hinged lid. Decorated with a small repoussé Bodhi leaf symbol. Likely used as a snuff, oil or incense-powder travel amulet. Dates to late 19th century. Beautiful original patina and age traces.
