The Green Machine is a steel MTB from the early 90s that I refurbished to use as a commuter. Simple, well designed, and cheap to maintain, this bike would be an ideal way to get to work or uni. The bike has had all new consumables; the chain, cables, brake pads, and tyres have been replaced, and I've fitted new shifters and a new front derailleur to make the bike handle like a modern bike.
