Cage uprights need to be pushed into the soil to achieve the height of the cage. Our vegetable fruit cages are constructed from aluminium tubing, 16mm for the uprights (legs) and 13mm for the crossbars (width & length), connecting the poles together we use plastic joiners which fits inside the pole.
