This is a vintage Meccano Dinky Toys No 626 Military Ambulance from the 1940s. It is made of die-cast metal in a scale of 1:43. The vehicle was manufactured in the 1950s. The model shows signs of wear. No driver figure. And has a damaged hinge on a rear door (repairable). Some rust under the cab. See pictures.

75+ years old and still going. Dinky modelled their example on the 1936 YB-17 version with blisters for the waist, dorsal & ventral gun positions, smaller rudder and no tail gun position. Original silver paint grey wash over cockpit/plexiglass detailing and original USAAF roundel and tail decals.
