I connected 2 Sony speakers but the sound was very muffled with both CD and tape. I have a portable speaker which sounds fine through the headphones socket. Volume needs turning a lot to go up. Not sure if this was normal for this model. Both cd and tape are working. Radio untested as I do not have an aerial. Many thanks for looking.
