This is a Sony CDX-C5000R car stereo. It is a CD and MD (MiniDisc) changer control unit. The unit has a built-in 50W x 4 amplifier. It features a flip-down detachable face. The stereo has control buttons for a CD/MD changer, as well as a radio tuner with RDS/EON. The unit also has separate bass and treble controls and a "D-BASS" button for dynamic bass. This has been in my loft for a number of years. It was working when it was removed. Great addition to any 90's retro ride! Thanks for looking.
