Authentic 1970’s British Made Hoover Electric Steam Iron Model 4004 A fantastic TV, film, and theatre prop, perfect for set dressing, vintage displays, or just for an avid Vintage Iron collector! Not for actual use although I have switched it on and it does get hot. Overall the iron is in good condition as can be seen in the photos. The chord is in excellent condition and may possibly have been replaced at some time in the past. If you wanted to actually use it I would definitely get it checked over by a qualified electrician but to be honest it is very heavy (over 1.5kg) and would make ironing very tiring and is really not practical for the 21st century! Suggest though you DO NOT USE !!
