Early 80s systems, particularly separates, maintained a solid, all-metal construction and featured intricate controls and displays that appealed to enthusiasts. The JVC R-S77 receiver, for example, arrived in 1980. Owned since purchase 1981. There is only minor scratches on the plastic lid. Also I have losted the Tuner power cable.
