Classic pure Class A design from the late ’80s. Powers up and heats up hot enough to fry the traditional egg atop, as it should. Has been serviced twice in its lifetime (heat-sink thermal paste attended to on each occasion). Cosmetics show clear age and use, but all knobs/switches intact. Not recently tested for sound output, so selling as powering up but vintage and due a check-over. Ideal for restoration or as a piece of hi-fi history.

At an FMJ A19 integrated stereo amplifier. In good cosmetic condition with some obvious marks on the top of the amount nothing of any real significance anywhere else. Lovely sounding amp with a very dynamic sound (to my ears) not the usual Warm/dull sound sometimes attributed to Arcam amps. Power cable supplied but no remote or other accessories included. PLEASE NOTE: The amp has developed an INTERMITTENT FAULT - a crackle from the left channel after about 5-10mins of use. Seems to sort itself if you play around with the volume dial! Hasn’t done it for 2 days now but want to be honest about it. Could be a dry joint somewhere and an easy fix? I have reflected this in the price but please be aware of this issue before making a purchase. Uk shipping or collection welcome.
