This is a working Sony MD-N710 walkman. However the power cable protector has fraid and is wrapped with electrical tape as shown in last picture, so sold as spares and repair. There is no battery, just minidisc and power cable as described. I have owned this since 2003. Used for a few years before ipod turned up then draw stored. Listing a used Sharp gumstick battery Ad-N55bt primarily used in cassette or Minidisc players, battery is in a good condition some minor scratches to the plastic outer surface but both contacts are clean and in a reasonable condition have tested the battery and still holds a charge and tried inside a minidisc player and still functions as should, due to the age of this item it would be wrong to class as fully working as there is no guarantee of how much charge or how long it would run for today
