Powers up and all looks fine, but when you press play it spins for a few seconds and then stops as if it can't read the track details. The odd thing is that I'm sure it was working when I got it! It's too good to throw away, so listed for parts. I have not attempted any repair other than cleaning the lens. It does the same thing on batteries as it does on a mains adapter.Perhaps you will have better luck?
