Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840x2160 30Hz 4:4:4 8bit, video content can be seen with incredible clarity at distances up to 70m, perfect for use in a variety of AV and digital signage applications in a range of settings including residential setups, education, business, retail and healthcare. This extender features an HDMI loop out port on the transmitter for local simultaneous viewing so that a local display can be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing zone. To ensure the maximum compatibility when two displays are connected, the EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be copied from either the local display connected to the transmitter or the remote display connected to the receiver. Power over Cable (PoC) functionality enables the extender to operate from a single power supply connected to the transmitter, allowing the receiver to be located where there is limited access to mains power sockets, making it ideal for minimalist, discreet installations. In addition to PoC functionality the extender's slim design allow it to be easier to install in limited spaces behind flat screen monitors or TVs. The first unit connected to your computer must always be the USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (No. 43158) or 15m (No. 43229). Once the first cable is connected, you can cascade additional Extension System Pro cables to extend the distance up to a maximum of 40m. The final part of the extension can be any cable or hub from the Extension System Pro range. If you need to extend multiple devices or connect a USB device with high power requirements, you should use the 10m Hub Pro unit (No. 43159) with its power supply as the final part of the extension. The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable Slim uses built in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by an additional 15m whilst continuing to support data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. With its USB A male and USB A female connector it allows Type A devices such as storage devices, webcams and other Type A devices to be connected at longer distances to PCs, laptops and tablets, while also ensuring flexible positioning. Up to 2 extension cables can be chained together to achieve a distance of 30m. The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable is compatible with all USB Type A equipped computers. The cable's unique and slim design allows installation in narrow surroundings an advantage over other active USB leads which use bulky connectors. The USB active extension cable also features a DC socket for connecting an external power supply (not included) when using USB peripherals which have higher power requirements.
