Onkyo TX-NR709 7.2 AV Receiver - Failed DSP Chip Confirmed DSP chip failure using settings on device. DSP1 and 2 show only question marks for version number whilst video and VSP(kyotoG2H) both show a version number for their firmware. Still powers up normally and all buttons and inputs/outputs to rear were working before the chip failed. Clicks when powering up and changing source indicating the power and amp are in working order. To be clear the only symptom is no sound output caused by the DSP sound o rcessor failure, just needs a reflow on the board or a replacement board.
