The Dynamic Drum System (DDS) has been deactivated. The DDS gives you, among other things, a streak-free image during fast image searches. This function is no longer available on this device. The advantage is that a defective DDS cannot cause a malfunction, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly common with these devices. By maintenance we mean the thorough cleaning and inspection of all belt-guiding parts incl. Head drum/tape head. Particular attention is paid to the pressure roller, certain plastic parts (a common cause of failure) and of course the tracking of the recorder. If necessary, a comparison is carried out.
