Beautiful antique Victorian fireplace surround featuring ornate cast iron detailing and decorative ceramic tile panels. The surround has intricate floral and scrollwork patterns, with hand painted tiles depicting floral arrangements and classical female figures in traditional dress. The top section has detailed cast iron relief work and the outer frame is finished in a darker painted surround. The original cast iron grate is included. Condition This is an original period piece and shows age related wear. There is surface rust to the cast iron and general weathering as it has been stored outside. It will require restoration and cleaning before installation. Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description.
