(M) British made leather suitcase from the 1940’s possibly 1950’s. Some stitches coming away and clear signs of use. No key but both catches still work, springing open. External measurements 24 x 14 x 5 1/2 inches. Some stickers on the case “Flandre” Flanders’s, Orient Line and railway luggage stickers. Inside still has leather straps, some staining would need re lining. Note metal studs. A heavy piece of luggage from a time where people traveled via train and steam ship, weighs just under 4kg. Vintage Scandinavian Air Flight Bag from late 49s or early 50s. This is a vinyl bag that zips and has a side open slide pocket pouch. It belonged to my mother in law when she went to Germany after graduation to see her ancestors. The bag is in good condition for it's age with the exception of one side of one of those handles is coming loose from it's Seam.
