The plate is in used condition showing is age, the scratches look worse in the photos than in reality.

The only real blemish is a small chip (see photo) on the neck which has been filled and smoothed out professionally so is purely aesthetic and can't be felt. This guitar's sound matches and surpasses more modern guitars and feels fantastic.
