The varnish has picked up its fair share of wear, particularly around the bridge area of the belly, as can be seen in the photos. Playing qualities. I have played the violin briefly to check the set-up and to assess the sound.

In excellent condition, had a new Aubert fine bridge 2 yeara ago, has alpine spruce soundpost, solid ebony pegs, Wittner tailpiece with adjusters, chin rest. The strings may need to be replaced.
