Pull the shackle up and turn 90° anti-clockwise so it places in the second notch position on top of the padlock and the shackle is facing away from the padlock. Push down firmly on the shackle and turn a further 90° anti-clockwise (180° from original locked position) so that the shackle is overhanging in front of the combination dials.
