This is my Martin Backpacker - I bought this in about 2008 and it has been through various periods of use and of storage in its case. The sound has probably matured as much as can be expected from the solid mahogany body and spruce top and it carries a few signs of use from trips away (mostly some strum marks around the sound hole). It still has the original care leaflet and Martin branded strap and I’ll even leave a spare set of strings in the case. Postage will be via Evri and I will pack it inside a suitable box with some bubble wrap for protection - If you live locally and want to collect, let me know and we can arrange a suitable time. This main point about bevelling is to make sure there are no sharp edges or uncomfortable fret ends which hamper playing. If a fret end is too long then it disturbs the feel of the neck as the players moves around the fretboard; if the fret end angle is too shallow then the string can easily start to slip off the end of the fret.
