For sale is a vintage Adams ironstone octagonal shaped tureen with lid and attached handles. This is from the Calyx Ware range and is in the pattern called Singapore Bird. Fully marked to base. Measures 16.5cm tall to the top of the lid, 8cm high to the rim of the body. It is 21.5cm wide and 26.5cm handle to handle. The internal space measures 16.5cm long, 16.5cm wide and 5.5cm deep. AS IS/REPAIRED: Marks and paint on dish. This has a chip in the edge that I have painted and sealed. Please see photos for exact details. It is not perfect but it does blend. Glaze is crackled design. 8 sided octagon shape. Measures approximately 12 inches wide x 9 inches long x 1 inch tall. Color is a robins egg blue or mint green. It almost looks white until you put it in the light.
