This is the box from a VHS-C to VHS adaptor, for adapting old camcorder tapes to fit in a full size VCR. I only have the box, but I couldn’t bear to throw it away when it’s in such good shape. It’s easy to open, so it could be a period appropriate way to store a spare adaptor. The box is for a motorised adaptor and the instructions on the back reflect that, but it’ll fit any VHS-C adaptor, or indeed any VHS tape.
