This is an Ampex 351 Electronics & Microphone Preamplifier that is in very good condition. The unit is completely original and has all of the parts, including the tubes, lamps, AC power cable, grill, knobs, etc. The unit has been tested and is working with a microphone. It sounds fantastic. Since it is completely original, it needs to be restored. But all parts are in tact and functional so restoration is possible to do. Got these bery rare units to restore but not going to get to it. One of the units meter does not seem to work, and the other has a switch (5 pos) that is broken. The heads pictured came with the Electronics. The transformers are Freed and Ampex. These are supposed to be amazing sounding with a tape recorder, as line amps or preamps. I have a head cover that can be included, and can source a transport in a separate transaction if needed. Thanks!
