A good idea is to replace all the electrolytic capacitors with new ones. They also have a low ESR. You can also get the factory service manual to the Carver C-1 as an addition. I will send it in PDF format.

Let us know what you need! The parts can be replaced by a person with limited soldering skills. A soldering iron, solder wick and solder are needed to replace the parts.
