19th century regency or early Victorian flame mahogany Secretaire with a secret compartment. 65” tall, 19” deep, 40” wide. At the top back it has a secret drawer! Wonderful piece of furniture. I would like the space back though. Small piece of veneer missing from the small shelves. Some of the knobs are chipped too as you can see in the photos. Along the top, the carving seems to have been trim down to match the top line of the cabinet.
