Lovely antique crazy quilt Lots of handiwork, an imaginative embroidery. Most likely a collaborative quilt among family or friends. Represented are large blocks using very small to med scraps. Threads are wool tapestry and cotton. Patches are wool suitings, velvet and silks. The silks don't hold up as well, they have signs of deterioration & stress. Binding is a mix of wool & heavy weight cottons, diagonal hand quilting in yellow thread.
