Antique American Brilliant Cut Glass Fruit or Serving Bowl. This elegant piece is intrically hand cut with stars and pinwheels. It is round in shaoe with a sawtooth rim. The Vintage Cut Crystal dish is heavy for its size, and has exquisite clarity. No makers mark. Antique - likely from 1895-1910. Measures approximately 8" x 3". There is a very tiny fleabite that is hard to see. An outstanding bowl for use and display.

The American Brilliant period was really from about 1876 to World War I. This type of cut glass was made with a high lead content and that is what makes it so clear and beautiful.
