An antique wrought iron horse hitching post / tether ring, dating from the 18th/19th century. It is blacksmith made with a large ring and two iron backplates to fit in a wall or post and is complete with original nut. It measures 33cm long in total and the gap between the two backplates has a maximum of 20cm and minimum of 18cm, the ring has a 10cm diameter. It has surface rust from age and use, otherwise all in genuine antique condition. This would look great outside any country house or ideal tv / film prop.
