This vintage brass boat oar holder lock was salvaged from the patrol vessel HMS P12, a British Royal Navy warship, is a rare and unique piece of maritime history. The P12 sunk after a collision off Sandown, Isle of Wight in 1918. This piece was salvaged in the 1970s. It is a museum piece and comes with a certificate from the Shipwreck Centre & Maritime Museum, Isle of Wight, providing more providence. The relice is displayed on a wooden presentation board with a plague and has hooks on the back, ready for hanging in a wall. I will also provide a small stand should you wish to display it on a desk or cabinet. A great piece of naval history to have in an office or living room.
