I admit, my breath caught in my throat when I first laid eyes on this rare beauty. I’ve been collecting for nearly 40 years and this is the first whole necklace I’ve seen in real life. This simply stunning cut & polished clear rock crystal beaded necklace dates to the turn of the century, the Art Nouveau era around 1910. Rock crystal beads are traditionally wrapped so as not to interrupt the absorption & refraction of light through the quartz. This necklace consists of 28 beads, each 30mm-30.2mm, each wrapped with a silver etched floral design wired together for a total of 23”. The closure is a spring ring clasp marked ‘sterling’.
