An exceptional quality 18th Century Sterling Silver Nutmeg grater of barrel form. Exquisitely chaissed decoration on outside. Opening mechanism in perfect condition. No dings (unusual as it has wear). Grate mechanism is easy to open. 4cm high 3.5cm wide at widest point. 25g Hallmarked to Base of inside barrel and underneath lid. I cannot make them out. Superb Condition consumerate with age and wear.

Both lids bear hallmarks which are for Birmingham 1795 and the makers mark is T.W (Thomas Willmore).
