A collection of 3 antique salt glazed stoneware bottles. An E P Shaw & Co Ltd Wakefield 1915 ginger beer bottle, with stopper, by Bourne Denby. Height 20 cm. A Blackwood & Co London ink bottle, by Mellor, Jepson & Mellor near Nottingham, circa 1885. Height 13.5cm. An unmarked ink well, height 7 5 cm. Overall in good antique condition. Two small chips on the Bourne Denby bottle. Please see the photographs as they form part of the description. This Doulton Lambeth beer pitcher is unstamped but I'm convinced it's Doulton Lambeth. It has a silver rim without a hallmark,so probably silver plate and would have originally had a lid. Please view all the pictures for the condition and dimensions.

Seems to be made from a light stoneware ceramic.it has wonderful grainy texture and a light glossy glaze. Ironware maybe.?. The ceramic does have tiny dark specks within the clay. Antique Jar. It depicts an outdoor rural scene of eating and drinking.

They did not produce their own stoneware jugs. Stamped "BLANCHARD & FARRAR / 14 & 15 DOCK SQUARE / BOSTON.". Traces of cobalt blue around the lettering. Coiled hand throwing lines plainly visible. Overall excellent.
