A Mahogany Mast plane. Signs of major repair work but done so impressively well. The mouth has been tightened up with a large dovetailed insert/boxing. It looks like the plane had split in half, though this may have been done in order to fit the insert - Alternatively the insert served both to tie the plane back together and tighten the mouth.
