This is a real piece of history. On the surface just a US M42 mess kit, which has certainly seen some use, but much more. I personally recovered this piece from the south of Bastogne, being sold by a local It cannot be said for certain, but it most likely belonged to one of the besieged US soldiers of Bastogne.
