VFD is Bright and the sound is very loud & crystal clear. Item has been tested on both batteries and a Grandstand AC Adapter and found to be powering on as expected. (It does work but does not automatically spring back to the centre when let go [you need to manually move it back and forth etc]).

Boxed with instructions, has been re-capped and the NPN transistor replaced. Boxes is in not bad, but worn condition for an item that's 44 years old, slight waring to the casing but works and even played to level 8 myself.
