The shutter seems to be locked down, but aperture works as expected. Winding on does not engage the shutter, nor does the film counter advance. This is what I attempted to do, but the shutter still did not engage with both of these sensors held down (as they would be if the rear was closed and film had been fitted inside).

Advance works nicely, back opens and closes with no issues. The front external glass is nice, no marks. We didnot test with film, however shutter speeds from 1/5th all the way up were nice and crisp.
